Become a Member

Faculty and researchers from the Center’s parent organizations (i.e. TAMU, TAMHSC, BCM, and UH) and non-parent organizations (i.e. affiliate members), alike, are eligible for Center Membership. Potential members are nominated by the Center’s Theme Leaders and the Internal Advisory Committee reviews and votes on candidates.

CTEHR membership is open to anyone who meets the qualifications below and agrees to actively support the center’s mission. Please submit the form below to initiate your application process.

CTEHR Membership Criteria

Eligibility for membership in CTEHR is defined by three categories:

  1. Full Members – faculty engaged in Center activities with environmental health-relevant research programs and peer-reviewed extramural research
  2. Associated Members – faculty engaged in Center activities with environmental health-relevant research programs, but no current peer-reviewed research funding
  3. Affiliate Members – faculty conducting environmental health-relevant research at institutions other than the parent institutions

The Center’s Internal Advisory Board determines CTEHR membership. Nominations for new members are made by the leaders of the Center’s thematic focus areas.

Required application materials:

  • CV
  • Statement of research interest
  • Current grant support
